If you're in the market for HP's latest svelte 13-inch Spectre x360, you can now snag the laptop bundled with a digital pen. Previously only available without a pen, the Spectre x360 is now available at Best Buy with the pen included, albeit only in a few different configurations.

For a convertible laptop, an included pen was sorely lacking for some users when the refreshed Spectre x360 launched in late 2016. The ability to swap into tablet mode and start jotting down notes with Windows Ink is one of the more attractive aspects of picking up a convertible, so it's good to see pen bundles show up for sale now.

The even older 2015 Spectre x360 (thinker bezels) use Synaptics pen digitzers, which means you'll have to purchase an active pen from HP. HP reps for some reason don't really know the answer to this, and I had to research this myself.

In all, Best Buy is serving up 3 different bundles with the pen included, ranging from $1,199 up to $1,599. Two of the configurations come in the Natural Silver color with Core i7 processors on board, along with either 8GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The third variant comes in the Dark Ash Silver color with a pen to match, and packs a 4K display alongside its Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Update: To be clear, this is a different model than the 13-inch Spectre x360 that we reviewed late last year. That version did not have a compatible display, which means using this new HP Pen on it will do nothing.
